How to Store Your Mode 3 Charing Cable?

This mode 3 16A/32A EV Charging cable is with IP54 Ingress Protection, it has protection from dust and splash of water from any direction can be used both indoor and outdoor, but for a longer lifespan, we suggest you to store it properly. the cable should be kept in dry place and cover the dust cover after use. Moisture and dust in the contacts will result in the cable not working properly. For longevity, ensure that your cable is not twisted or excessively bent during storage.


Safety Tips:

1> Always check the cable and the contacts for damage and contamination before using them.

2> Never use a damaged product, such as vehicle inlet, or infrastructure socket outlet for charging.

3> Never use contacts that are dirty or damp

4> Only connect the cable to vehicle inlets and infrastructure socket outlets that are protected against water, moisture and liquids.

5> The charging process is finished when you actuate the locking lever of the vehicle connector. You can then disconnect the vehicle connector and the infrastructure plug.

6> Never use force to disconnect them. Dangerous electric arcs could result in serious injury or death. Depending on the charging station and electric vehicle, the shutting down of the charging process and the duration of unlocking may vary.

7> There are electric vehicles that can be started with the cable connected. Always make sure to disconnect it before driving away.

8> In the unlikely event of smoke or melting, never touch the product. If possible, stop the charging process. Press the emergency stop switch on the charging station in any case.

9> Make sure that the cable is out of reach of children. Only person’s with a valid driver’s license for motor vehicles can use it.
