How to Know if my Car is Type 1 or Type 2?

Before you order the Home EV charger, first you need to know your car is a type 1 or type 2, it's easy to identify just by looking at the charging socket of your car, Type 1 charging socket is normally with 5 pins, (always selling in North America countries or Japan); Type 2 electric cars charging socket with 7 pins.(Type 2 electric cars always selling in the EU Market) the following picture showing the details.

How to charge my car with this charger?

1. Firmly plug the power supply socket into the suitable power outlet. ( remember to choose a socket which can withstand the Highest current, for example for this 16A Charger, the socket need to withstand at lest 16A current)

2. Remove the protection cap on the inlet plug, and insert the charging cord into your car's inlet socket firmly and completely till it clicks.

3. Choose the suitable Current by touching the capacitive screen. then start charging. the charging status shows as following.
